Stone Washing and Masonry
Some of the coolest jobs we've done are on not so common surfaces such as stone masonry and brick finishes. We've done many estimates for people who called us for one thing and when we got there showed them that we could clean areas they thought were not cleanable.
Stone and brick are the most common surfaces we clean and many of our customers have been told flagstone brick can't be cleaned or it will fall apart, flake, or lose color. The only thing I can think is the people that are telling them this are inexperienced or don't have the right equipment. Tile, slate, aggregate, flagstone, brick, etc. can all be cleaned.
Each surface is different and require different amounts of pressure and heat combined with technique. Some of the dangers in cleaning these surfaces are grout removal, mortar removal, flaking of natural stone.
